First, one note

For the first post, I thought I would let the readers know what I use, as that is what is usually the most interesting.

For virus purposes I use Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, Norton Anti-Virus and AVG.

For web purposes I use Firefox and Safari.

For photos I use Picasa.

For music, iTunes.

For videos, VLC.

Backup, DocSyncer and Mozy.

I also use Google Talk and Google Desktop.
